Care has long been a family tradition for Beverley — one lovingly handed down through the generations.
Beverley spent her summer holidays alongside her Nan Joy who celebrated 100 years of age in 2024, uncle Ron and Auntie Cath in the family’s care home. Their dedication and compassion left an indelible mark on her, inspiring her own journey into the caring profession.
While still studying Health and Social Care at college, Beverley earned her NVQ Levels 2 and 3 and began weekend work at a nursing home in Alverstoke.
Upon graduating, she took on a full-time care assistant role in Hillhead, where she spent three formative years refining her practical skills and deepening her commitment to those in her care.
Beverley then transitioned into community care with Hampshire County Council before embracing a new challenge: providing round‑the‑clock support to a private client with physical disabilities. There, she not only delivered hands‑on care but also assumed assistant managerial responsibilities, broadening her leadership experience.
Keen to expand her expertise further, Beverley stepped into care management as a coordinator for a national home‑care provider. Her aptitude for the role quickly propelled her to Registered Care Manager, overseeing a bustling branch whose team delivered over 1,000 care hours each week. Under her guidance, both staff and clients thrived, and Beverley completed her QCF Level 5 in Care Management. Her achievements were twice recognized with the regional Branch of the Year Award.
In 2019, drawing on 30 years of rich experience, Beverley realised her dream: founding Serenity Care Solent. Today, as founder and director, she remains as ever at the forefront of the company and driven by the same passion that fueled her family’s care home decades ago—delivering the highest standard of compassionate, personalised support to people in the comfort of their own homes.
